I really dislike pancakes. I know it’s not normal, but it’s how I’ve always been. They are just too dry. It doesn’t matter if I put in blueberries, applesauce, or even chocolate, I am always forcing them down.
Unless they are German pancakes.
These are the perfect consistency and still taste good with a little syrup and powdered sugar. My whole family devours them.
6 TB butter
1 C milk
1 C flour
3 TB sugar
dash of salt
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. While it’s preheating, put butter in a 9×13 pan and put it in the oven to melt. While that’s melting, whisk the rest of the ingredients together in a bowl. Once the butter is melted and the oven pre-heated, pour the contents of the bowl on top of the butter and put back into the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
